Our client - a very successful and growing international diesel
engine manufacturing and service company - requires a Senior
Manufacturing Engineer to provide on-going technical support and
assistance to the engine and components reconditioning operation
located at the Company’s Australian Head Office in the
Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Through your thorough understanding of methods, production
operations and analytical ability, you will be required to take a
hands-on, lead role in product quality improvement, salvage
technologies and new product introductions. This would include
provision of on-going support in the areas of plant layouts,
materials handling, equipment evaluation, development and
maintenance of process documentation, and training of shop floor
personnel.
A natural ability to act as a facilitator in a team based work
systems environment is very important. Ideally, you will have a
manufacturing/mechanical/industrial engineering tertiary
qualification, with several years of hands-on experience in a
metals, casting and machining environment.

Detailers/Estimators with relevant roof truss/wall frame detailing
and estimating experience (and ideally familiar with

located in the Footscray area - is looking for a down-to-earth,
highly motivated and pro-active experienced sales person to promote
and sell their wide range of products to both small and large
retailers/chain stores.
Although the role would primarily be an "internal" sales role
dealing with retail business owners/managers/buyers, he/she would
also need to be able to "go-out" and market their products to the
large retail chains.
